Registration Officer & Account Manager

LK Domain Registry is the sole administrator for web addresses that end in “.lk” in Sri Lanka. Since its inception in 1990, LK Domain Registry is facilitating development initiatives of Internet infrastructure services to improve the Internet service sector in the country. The Registry is expanding its services to serve the country better. We are looking for energetic individuals to fulfil the need gap of the organization as given below. Registration Officer
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, Support, and Coordinate Registration Operations.
  • Collaborate with LK Domain Management, Staff and Stakeholders.
  • Communicate and support clients and customers by phone, chat and email in an accurate and professional manner.
  • Submit reports as needed by the management.
  • Facilitate & support increasing the number of domain registrations.
  • Supervise operational staff and field registration tasks including monitoring of local and foreign resellers.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
  • GCE A-level or GCE O-level and a recognised certificate
  • Competence, knowledge, skills and ability in supporting/conducting customer service activities.
Account Manager
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support and Coordinate with local and foreign resellers and others
  • Identify and on-board new local and foreign resellers
  • Work with resellers to improve business
  • Collaborate with LK Domain Management, Staff and Stakeholders.
  • Submit reports as needed by the management.
  • Facilitate & support increasing the number of domain registrations.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
  • A diploma or certificate from a recognised institution or a recognised professional qualification.
  • Demonstrated competence, knowledge, skills and ability in supporting/conducting customer service activities.
  • At least three years relevant experience.
COMPETENCIES FOR ABOVE POSTS
  • Computer literate
  • Able and willing to work hard while maintaining standards and accuracy
  • Able to work in a team
  • Able to deal effectively with challenging field operational issues.
  • Able to communicate clearly and listen attentively
  • Fluent in speaking and writing in Sinhala & English. Ability to speak in Tamil would be an added advantage.
  • Able to work with little or no supervision.
  • Self motivated and self organized.
